    Hi all,

I have a 2000 Tacoma. A few days ago, the passenger door randomly locked when closed. one day it was working, the next day it didn't lol.

Yesterday and today, I was working on replacing the interior as well as exterior door handles of both passenger and driver sides. But, even with replacing them and trying to pull one some of the metal bars connected to the handles, I still have no luck.

Has anyone experienced this and found a fix? Or, any ideas in general? TIA!

Is this only from the inside, or the outside as well? If just from inside, then your child safety lock is on. It's a small lever/tab in the edge of the door.
