2000 Tacoma Theft Deterrent System

Hello All. My 2000 Tacoma SR5 Step-side 2.4 auto trans is still giving me trouble with the Theft Deterrent System. The only remaining remote I have does not work. The alarm beeps the horn and the truck will only start with the door open. Of course I have the horn fuse removed. I did remove the negative battery cable for 36 hours with no change. I do not have a wiring diagram that shows the TDS. Luckily my local inspection station does not mind the horn does not work. Any help will be much appreciated. They didn't come with an alarm from the factory. So you won't find a diagram.
They were usually a dealer added item.
Most used the KARR systems.
