    Hey guys. i’m the new guy who’s going to need a lot of help lmao! hope you don’t mind the question. I recently bought a 2000 2wd tundra with the 3.4 in it. for some reason it sometimes has a difficult time starting and has a rough idle on the driver side. if anyone has had this problem or it sounds familiar plz hit me up. i’m a struggling noob

    Service history?

    Usually with an older truck like that simple maintenance is the starting point. Spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter etc.

    Any timing belt stickers or records?

    I don’t have any service records, bought the truck off my father in law so i trusted that he kept it maintained. The timing belt says it needed to be changed at 108,000 miles and not it’s at 249,000. The belts also squeak like crazy when i first start up the truck.
