So I had the putt putt noise from around the manifold, after disassembling the air intake and manifold heat shields I was able to find the leak between the manifold and exhaust pipe #1. I figured either the previous owner reused old gaskets or didn't use any, so I ordered a set online, best price was on ebay for $6.50 each with free shipping. One of the three bolts ended up stripped and couldn't hold any torque, lucky it was the easy to access bolt through the wheel well and I was able to put a nut-bolt in there. So it turned out there was no gasket installed, so for the sake of saving $13 someone didn't put the gasket in, inconceivable! Well, no more putt putt and I have some extra hp :)
