Having a hard time trying to find if a 2001-2004 Tacoma (TRD Off Road Extended Cab specifically) with a manual transmission offered the 6+foot bed or was it only the offered in the 5ish foot bed?

    Thanks

The 2002 Toyota Tacoma had two bed options: a 5-foot bed and a 6-foot bed. The bed length depended on the cab style and trim level.
    Bed dimensions
    • 5-foot bed
60.3 inches long, 44.7 inches wide between wheel wells, 53 inches wide at tailgate, and 21.2 inches deep
    • 6-foot bed
73.5 inches long, 44.7 inches wide between wheel wells, 53 inches wide at tailgate, and 20.2 inches deep
    Bed options by cab style
    • XtraCab:Can be paired with a 6-foot bed
    • Double Cab:Can be paired with a 5-foot or 6-foot bed
I say all this but I have never seen a DC long bed with a manual.

Thanks. So manual transmission isn't always paired wirh the 5 ft bed? And even if you have an extended cab a 5 foot bed is an option?

Looking at 2 trucks, same year, extended cab but one is manual and the other is automatic. I'm leaning towards the manual but the VIN search isn't saying bed size clearly.

The extended cab trucks only came with 6' beds.

The double cabs only came with 5' beds.

The extended cabs could come with auto or manual transmissions.

The double cabs only came with automatic transmissions.
