I'm looking for smallish level ramps for use during my overlanding adventures. Any suggestions of what model works well for a Gen1 Tacoma? Thanks!

    Some what?

You mean a means of leveling your truck if you're going to sleep in it?

I've stacked some flat rocks at one time, carrying small pieces of wood would more than suffice. Just need to prop up two tires at most to level out the truck.

I think he's referring to recovery boards and using them as level ramps, that's what I use mine for 95% of the time lol

If you mostly just want them for leveling the truck when camping, I would just get some cheap knock-off ones from Amazon. Don't spend $300 on Maxtrax for that

I don't remember what brand mine are but they are knock off of the XBull brand, they were like $90 on Amazon

Was going to follow up with that as well lol

Think I used my boards to level out my grill at one point...

Funny how when your tired as long as your not sleeping with your feet several feet above your head I never noticed.

Moving a few feet most often corrects any major problems

    Very true.

Though I do remember a night or two being a bit "sideways" and uncomfortable.

Moving around sucked and the last thing I wanted to do is move the truck in the middle of the night.

Having my head lower than my feet makes it so I can't sleep at all usually, if I do I wake up with a headache tossing and turning.

My new Alcans gave me so much rake in the back that I usually have to sleep with my head over the back of the truck so I can keep my head up higher lol

Get onboard air compressor system and air down the tire on the high side for sleeping.

Not like it used to be lol. Sometime after turning 30 that stopped working so well, can't replace quality sleep with anything but
