Well I searched and read a lot about the topic already but would love to hear from anyone reading this now:

cold start on my Tacoma is great. No hesitation at all. Starts right up.

…but if I Go for a drive to the gas station and turn it off for 5 minutes, starting it up again on a hot start, I experience a little bit of hesitation like it’s a bit of sputter or something just isn’t right. Maybe it’s a rich fuel mixture?

has anyone experienced this? It is giving me second thoughts on shutting off the engine if I know I may need to start it back up within 15 minutes or so…

I’ll get a video of it here in a bit…

You are at the miles when the old Aisin (Brown) fuel injectors start to fail. When they run well on cold start and not good on warm start that’s a good indication one or more are starting to fail.

I had the same thing on my old spark plugs before i went supercharged. Had probably 50k km on them and ran like crap when warm. Hesitation off the line and on acceleration. Swapped the plugs (copper ones i think) and that solved everything.
