i dont know a $7k motor with a 100k mile warranty would be tempting to me

or take chance and take a few shots for the same price getting a jasper/junkyard one

i myself have bought a crate motor for a Nissan and the motor was flawless, ran perfect till i sold the car (it was a skyline motor though.....)

The toyota dealer uses Jasper reman's and gives the 100k warranty. "IF" I get a Jasper... I'll have the dealer do it for sure just to get the 100k because the extra money spent for the dealer to install as compared to an independant mechanic is worth it for the 100k.

Believe me, I'd love to go that way but $7k is a lot of money right now.

Anyone know any thing about Marshall motors as compared to ASAP motors?

I found Marshall motors... well, thats where Rockauto is getting them. They have a 3 yr 36k warranty. ?????

Ahhhhh the agony of it all
