I've got a 2001 double cab 4x4 that won't shift correctly. Dealership said transmission was fried so I had remanufactured one put in (at another shop) and same problems. Reman company sent me another tranny, but same issues after the 2nd one was unstalled. Won't "lock up" or move after shifted from park unless wiring is unplugged at transmission. With it unplugged, truck will move in 1st and 2nd but won't shift out of 2nd? Any ideas?

THIS. However a competent shop should be able to diag this issue so I would be curious about what all they have actually done.
