    Ya I will be using 91 always, but was just wondering if adding that little bit would help be a detonation preventer until I get my meth setup.

    So, probably not really a solution, but at least it won’t hurt anything, right?

    I guess that’s my biggest concern is if that additive stuff will help keep the 91 just a little bit higher in octane, but won’t harm anything.

    I’ll look into torco, but ya, I just want to do everything I can to prevent detonation I’m the meantime while I wait save up funds and parts.

    I had my injectors cleaned and serviced and installed the AEM 50-1220 high flow pump = I actually don’t need methonal anymore as a fuel additive,
    You have to run 91 at least

    Oh, did you get rid of the meth injection all together after the fuel pump upgrade??
    Doesn't the methanol also help with keeping the super charger cooler? and cooler air means better boost, no?

    Do you have the stock injectors? or have you put bigger injectors in?

    Edit; if you are deleting your meth kit ill buy it from you if you haven already got rid of it

    I just saw in your description 2004 denso fuel injectors., where did you get those?

    Yours are the same flow rate,
    1996-1998-1999? were 245cc,
    2001-2004 were 260cc I believe.
    Something like that

    Yes I deleted the methonal and now am using water instead for summer hot days,
    Have stock injectors that were cleaned and serviced last year.,
    If you install the AME 50-1220 340 lph pump you probably will not need the methonal

    Are you still using the same injection method but just with water?

    you changed it all up on me! HahHa

    I’m definitely gonna do the pump that’s easy. OEM fuel filter?

    Yup, with the AEM 1220 fuel pump and haltech I don’t need anything else for fuel.
    The water injection I will use in the summer only to reduce heat.

    Is this the right plug? Stupid website says it won’t fit but I think it’s just because the gap. But I can gap it to the proper gap for our trucks right?

    Gap is correct for supercharger Not regular 3.4 is why

    Finally got a new pair of shoes and bled the brakes, stops on a dime now.

    I also got a (cheap) boost gauge installed today as well, I’ll get a nicer one to replace it one day but mostly just needed some kind of reference for 283BBE04-4128-4D30-BB9E-FA5AABDBA1D4.jpg The water/meth sprayer, FMU(fuel management unit) and 340 pump arriving tomorrow.
    Wanted to show how I did install on the gauge in that location, so I’m doing a little write up.
