2001 dcab 4wd 25k miles

Look up Los Angeles Facebook marketplace. Sketch Carfax. Apparently didn't have much use since 2018. Probably sat in a garage unused for 17 years. Also had damage in 2019. No accidents though. Not mine.

 

Trying to talk to the guy now...he’s not giving much information. States “he got it like that”.

 

Saw this one on FB marketplace too...hate when people try and sell something but have limited to no info.

 

Hey bud did you run the car fax ? Could you send me a copy of them .

 

Looks like the guy runs a small car dealership .they never know anything about what they sell. I dealt with two dealership owners in the past week . The last guy I dealt with said" it is what it is if you like it buy it " at that point I was like hell no I'm not giving this guy my money. It sucks when small dealer get of hold of Tacoma's.

 

The seller sent me a carfax of the truck when I inquired about it, it stated it is clean title and no accident reports however the truck had previous damages in the front, right and rear. It didn't specify whether it was an accident or not. Just sharing info for those interested in the truck.

 

He Sold it, Undercarriage was decent too, I was gonna go look at it

 

Looks like a lot of rust for so few miles, especially in LA

Look at the Carfax, The truck spent some years in Colorado

 

Carfax is a joke. It can take months for an accident /damage to show up on a report.
If it's not paid through an insurance company and the owner pays cash for the damage it may never show up on Carfax.
