Well, like the title states, Up for sale is a very clean 2001 Honda RC51 RVT1000 V-Twin Sportbike. This bike was a Nicky Hayden Edition, however the previous owner removed all relevant Nicky Hayden Edition graphics. The bike is in excellent condition, very well maintained. It features new rear tire, new DID chain and sprockets, Jardine RT-one exhaust, factory Honda rear solo seat also with rear passenger seat. After market undertail installed by previous owner. Bike is in excellent shape with the exception of a small dent in the gas tank and a few scratches on the right side upper fairing, bike fell over in the garage of previous owner. Also the lock for the rear truck does not work. Other than that bike is flawless, very fast, and very fun to ride. Clear title in head, cash only, no warranties expressed or implied. Can help with delivery of bike within a reasonable range which can be negotiated at a later date.

$4499.00, All reasonable offers will be considered, I am buying a house and need the money. Its an awesome bike in the 4 months Ive owned it. And id be happy to deliver if needed.

    Bring Offers!

    Thanks

I feel like I've seen your bike around. I'm in Annapolis though. I ride as well. Have a GS500F and looking to upgrade but I'm not in the market for a liter bike yet.

Good luck with your sale. Craigslist is always free.

Try craigslist. I sold my last bike in 2 days and the guy only beat me up for $100 off the asking price. Just be weary of people coming to your house, you may want to meet them somewhere else so they don't see where you store the bike. Happened to a buddy of mine, 2 guys showed up to look at it, then came back at night and tried to steal it.

Ya i have her on craigslist too, as far as a litre bike, the power is very predictable, and forgiving. Such a blast to ride and the torque is unreal, i love it, just need the money, if your interested your welcome to come test ride. Its a totally different beast than an inline 4 litre bike.

If I was in the market I'd grab that thing in a heartbeat! I absolutely love the V-twin sportbikes like that one and the older TLR1000s. I just traded in my CBR for a Katana 750 about 2 years ago so I'm going to run that for a while. I needed something comfortable for longer trips. Good luck with the sale! I'm actually surprised you're having trouble selling it, there's not a lot of those bikes up for sale.

Nice bike! These things are still a force around a track... and they hold their value well. I don't necessarily think your price is high. You just need to find someone who wants an RC51!

Try posting it on the WERA forums!

Would love a bike like this, just not the divorce that'd come with it. :( Ahhem, I picks my battles....I really don't neeeeed one but it'd be such a blast. Been awhile now since I wasn't the motor on my bikes.
