I've got an '01 prerunner crew cab and was wondering what a 3 inch lift would look like on it with stock tires and wheels. Anyone have any pictures or insight?
    Thanks,
    Mike

I had hopes of installing the struts. Unfortunately I was hit by another car on the same day I tore ligaments and cratilage in my knee. So I just had the mechanic at the body shop do the install. I went with bilstein 5100's on all four wheels, the fronts are adjustable and I had them set at 2.5"( the highest). I also went with the TOYTEC AAL in the rears as well as 1.5" block. They charged me $240 fro the install. Not that bad, considering I can't kneel or squat for a month. Looking to get some simple black steel pro comp rims and perhaps some 285/75/16 tires to match.

Thanks for the pics - If I were to lift my truck, what all would I need? (I'm not a mechanic, but I know enough to get around) I've got a pretty tight budget. Any suggestions?

    Angle disc grinder
    cheater bar
    jack stands
heavy duty c-clamps( 12" and higher)
    some grease
    and some spare time

That's a good looking truck man. I'm gonna shoot for something like that.

Which lift kit do you recommend? Looking for three inches. Got a tight budget.
