My 2001 was undercoated in 2010 which means it meets the June 2011 deadline for the 15year frame warrantee. It is now rusting all the frame coating off and starting to flake pretty heavily. I went to one dealership that said that because they undercoated in 2010 they couldn't do anything more. I have seen several cases where frames have been replaced after undercoating If they are still they were still in the 15 year deal. Do you guys have any info or specifics that might help me in taking it to another dealer? Thanks in advance

If your frame was undercoated before the deadline, it is supposed to extend the warranty of your frame up to 15 years from the in service date of your truck. So you should be good until late 2015 or early 2016 depending when your truck was purchased.

If you're in Texas like your location says, then the dealers there may not know as much about the frame recalls because I think it was only for cold weather states and Canada. Is your truck from a different state?

Quick word of advice...Be NICE :) and it will get you further into the process...If it "dead-ends" then blow off steam....

My 02 was undercoated in 2011 and I got a new frame earlier this year. Rusted right through; of course I'm in NH.

Some of this Some of that
The bumpstop for the rear axle on my frame is collapsed from rust, called Toyota. Since it was undercoated before the deadline it's covered with no mileage restrictions. I live in mass
