$6,500 , way too much invested to go much lower.

The truck has had a complete refresh this past summer and has been in the southeast it's whole life. The pictures speak for themselves and you could eat off of the undercarriage. Not a single leak or issue with anything. Zero rust, absolutely none, not even surface rust on anything. Body is rock solid. Frame was replaced under the Toyota customer support program at 337k this May (2016) as it had a crack develop and dime size hole beginning to rust in the crack. I was going to plate the small section of the frame with a Trailgear kit when I decided to see if Toyota could assist. Since it was sold new in VA, it qualified under the replacement program. Needless to say, I was pretty excited with that and had them do the job.

The mileage is high as it has had countless trips from NC to GA/ TX throughout its life. 340k miles on truck, no hard wheeling, mostly a commuter (~175 miles/ day) and camping vehicle. I'm looking for a double cab as my kids have grown too big for the extended cab.

I have an insane amount of maintenance in the truck and when Toyota did the frame swap I had every possible suspension/ steering/ brake component upgraded that was not included as part of the frame job. Anything that showed signs of wear was replaced. Toyota corporate was charged over $13k for the job and I spent an additional $5k in upgrades.

Has a few small scratches from brush, no major damage at all, minor fading in small area on roof but barely noticeable, a few minor dings, and various rock chips, mainly on tailgate. Everything functions as designed and I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere. No one believes the truck has the miles it does as it is in very nice shape. I honestly think that the high mileage is part of the cool factor and I thought I would never sell it. I'm not sure I'm even asking enough for it but I'm pretty confident this is a good deal considering how well it runs and drives and the components it has. I took it to Uwharrie once since the new suspension was done and it performed very well. That was my way of validating the dealer put it all back together properly and I must say they did a top notch job.

    Details on the truck:

    Engine/ Drivetrain:
2.7 L, motor removed and resealed, all new gaskets, new valve train at 299k
Full synthetic Mobil 1 it's entire life
5spd manual, oem clutch replaced at 299k, zero noise or issues
Clutch cylinder replaced during frame swap at 337k as it broke when they removed it
    New front axles at 337k
All fluids/ filters in entire truck replaced at 337k
4wd works perfect and as designed, stock gear ratios
All new fuel lines as part of the frame swap
    Recent fan clutch
    Recent battery
Flowmaster 40 series exits before axle, not loud or obnoxious. I was going to do a turn down but was satisfied with just removing the rear section for more ground clearance

Suspension/ Steering (all new at 337k):
Light Racing Upper Control Arms/ ball joints/ bushings
New OEM Lower Control Arms/ bushings/ ball joints as part of frame swap
FatBobs Coilovers, standard travel and are all all the way down, can be raised another 1.5 inches easily if you wanted to run a larger tire size or change the stance. I prefer the stance as it is.
Brand New OEM Leaf Pack as part of the frame swap, all new bushings and shackles
    FatBobs rear extended length shocks
    1.5 inch lift blocks
    Extended rear brake line
    BPV bracket
    Front diff drop
    Tie rods
    Steering rack bushings/ hardware
All new bumper mount hardware, body mount hardware, etc... replaced during frame swap

    Wheels/ Tires/ Brakes:
    265/70/16 Cooper Discoverer AT3's with 10/32s tread
    2013 TRD wheels
    1.25" Spidertrax spacers
    265/70/16 steel spare
PowerStop complete front brake package at frame swap
Rear drums and shoes replaced at 299k
New brake lines and e-brake cables/ hardware at frame swap
    Wheel bearings replaced at 299k

    Exterior:
    Trailgear frame sliders
Trailgear rear bumper with shackles and built in hitch
Stainless steel skid plate with hole for oil change
Undercover lockable hard tonneau, barely used, sits inside the garage most of the time
    OEM bedliner

    Interior:
No rips in seating and the interior shows well
A/C, heat, cruise control function as designed
    All gauges function as designed
Center console arm rest lid is worn and was covered in black fabric to hide wear (looks fine as it is) and I may replace it if I come across one
Console works as designed, no cracks
Dash and panels all in nice condition
    Light window tint
    New rear side window latches
    Sliding rear window

    Stereo:
Sony touchscreen DVD with usb input, iPod input, Aux input
    Sirius/XM tuner
Kicker L7 10" sub with a quick remove hookup, comes out in less than 30 seconds if an additional passenger needs the seat
Kicker amp mounted discreetly under drivers seat, out of the way
    Kicker remote gain

Truck is located in Pinehurst, NC and can assist with shipping if needed.

I'll let some pictures do the talking:

Update: price drop. I'm going to Craigslist this truck soon if no TW members are interested. I guess no one has ever seen a 340k Tacoma that runs perfect? This truck is literally daily driver and/ or off-road ready.

That's a whole lot of miles on a 16 year old truck. It's clean as hell, but miles like that scare people. Why are you selling your truck? Seems like it's super clean.

Need a crew cab as I now have three little ones. I've had many vehicles into the 400k. It is 16 years old but every, I mean every part that was showing wear was replaced at 337k when the frame was replaced. This thing is solid and tight. Everything works as it should and if it had two more doors I would never let it go.

Yea, I thought this was a great deal, maybe everyone's just broke from the holidays! Tax returns are due soon, maybe it'll find a new home. I drive her every day for hours on my commute. I'm military and moving across country in March and will be buying a crew cab when I get there so she has to go before I leave.

If someone wants a well sorted rig, PM me but don't waste my time or yours.

The miles are high, but wow, seems a fair price for what it is. Lots of goodies on it. Good job on taking care of it.

Thank you, someone will be getting a nice rig indeed. If I didn't have three little kids I'd keep it but I need a double cab in a bad way.

I'm shipping my wife's SUV from NC to WA for $1,400 next month when we move so I'd think it'd be similar as the distance is roughly the same. This is for door to door service with a very reputable carrier. If you did port to port versus door to door it'd be a few hundred less. I have a member from this forum that is getting a loan and says he's picking it up next week. If something falls through you are next in line. Whoever gets this rig is getting a real solid truck.

Lot's of contact this week, tax returns must be coming in. For everyone that's interested, there's a TW member working his loan out now and he may pick it up next week. If I don't sell it by Wednesday, next in line will be contacted.

No worries, if you get it you'll surely enjoy it. If it were a double cab I'd keep it forever.

At the request of a member, I had the truck inspected at the Toyota dealer yesterday. It's report card was perfect, not a single issue or recommended repair was noted. This thing is ready for a new home. WinstonSalemTacoma should be picking it up next Tuesday and if not, I'll PM the other members who've shown interest.

How hard can it be to put a full size cab on the chassis?

Some people really are ridiculous. I had a guy make an offer and plan to meet at his credit union today. At his request I had the truck inspected at Pinehurst Toyota and it passed perfectly last week, no issues at all. I took off of work today to have the truck professionally detailed and to meet him to do the sale. As I'm here getting the truck polished up, he texts and says he needs to get his finances in order and can't buy it. Now I just wasted a vacation day and a bunch of other time. If you're interested shoot me a PM but don't play games. I know stuff happens in life but I had a feeling this dude wasn't serious and should've listened to my gut. He was a forum member here so I gave him the benefit of doubt but I guess that was a mistake. All PM's replied to as of today. This things going on Craigslist next week so if there's any interest just let me know. That's the end of my rant, thanks for reading it!
