2001 stereo removal and install

    I have looked around some but in a time crunch. To remove the factory stereo does the whole dash need to come off or will just the piece surrounding the climate controls and radio come off separately?

    Got it done it was so simple lol im glad the dash over the steering wheel and the piece in front of the radio aren't all one

    Yes that would be horrible lol. This one is a little easier than the 2nd gen. Didn't take long to install my double-din on my old 2nd gen, but this install should be quick.

    Getting the Pioneer AVH-P4400BH :cool:

    anyone have the write up to install an aftermarket single din in first gens?
    can't figure it out.
    Did my 2nd gen no problem
