I have a '01 Taco, it has electric locks/windows and what looks like a security monitor light on the dash. I checked the spots from other posts where a keyless/alarm module should reside - behind kicker panel, in dash between fusebox and steering, under driver seat(checked under seat and under carpet). Yje black box isn't in any of those places, So I think although I have the monitor light and other electrics I may be missing the module. Has anyone found another location for the module?
    Thanks!

    *EDIT AGAIN*

You may have the Toyota RS3000 keyless system.
On my 2003 TRD truck, there is nothing on my dash that lets me know that I have keyless and my rear axle diff lock button is in that spot.

The red led is where the elocker should be. Now that we've narrowed it down it is not OEM.

Here's mine with all the goodies. The blue indicator is I think a dealer upgrade (s1000? Or whatever it's called). Edit: rs3000
    Now running viper alarm

And then here's the OEM alarm indicator

Thanks for the info guys, it looks like both the rs3200 and rs3000 have dash inserts with 'security' written on them, so that LED is not oem and I have no keyless option/security. So with my 2001 can I use either system?
    Thanks!

I'm not sure about compatibility, but I do want to state that the Keyless only systems do not have the Security LED and glass breakage sensor.

The TVIP+ security system upgrade adds this onto the keyless system and enables the security features.

Thanks, I thought they were the same thing, where would I check for the keyless module?
