    Hi everyone,
My name is Tyler and I am new to this site. I am currently building my 01 Tacoma and need help.
I recently swapped out my 3.90 rear diff w/ a 4.10 one. It was smooth and a pretty easy install. I just received my new 4.10 front diff from a donor 2002 4runner. Everything looks correct except for the output shaft. Mine is shorter than the donor 4.10 diff. I cant find anything online about the different length out put shaft. I may be able to swap the out put shafts but not sure. Also, every other 2001-2004 Toyota 4.10 front diff for sale online has the shorter out put shaft except for the one I just received.

I uploaded a few pics that show this.

    Thanks
    Tyler

I suspect you’ve got a front diff from a 4r with a different type of tcase

Thanks for the info, if I can get the 4r drive shaft will it solve my problem or will I run into other problems?
