Will a 2013 Tacoma 4wd rear diff third member fit my 2001? I have called and looked everywhere and can only find 95 and up statement.
Mine is a 4:10 gear and I found a 2013 with that gear. Will it fit my housing and axles?

I doubt it. Interchangeability wise, you can only use 1st gen parts on a 1st gen. 2nd gen parts can be used on a 3rd gen and vice versa though.

I don't think the gearing will be the same across the trucks either, keep in mind the 2nd gen Tacoma is a mid-size truck while the 1st gen is a compact truck. The bodies and frames are larger, wider, and heavier. This is why you can't use 2nd/3rd gen suspension on a 1st gen.
