I got a question I'm trying to get things figured out before I start getting things together. I've been reading around and coming to understand ls400 and transmission can be swap in. So no I'm wondering do if I use stand alone do I need one conversation harnesses or could I just use the one from Donner car plug in everything. Was also think about getting cluster .

What happened to the turbo?, single cab? currently a 4cly?, yes you can swap in the auto from the donor LS400 you will need the shift shaft out of your old trans, or modify shift link in your shifter. No the gauge cluster swap not a good idea, whether you go standalone ($500-$600) or fully integrated conversion ($1900-$2200) its your choice, everybody loves picsIMG_0639.jpg IMG_0647.jpg IMG_0631.jpg

In my truck there is a 4 pin connector under the fuse box, 3 of the wires went to the alternator the last one (black) went to the start solenoid or commonly known as the start trigger wire, but i went fully integrated, if you do standalone the harness you buy will have the relays and start trigger wire in it. Not sure what direction your going in, your questions are direct but your plan is not clear, GL.
