New to the forum, I have a question? I have a 2001 Tacoma 3.4 that is supercharged, I get hesitation while on the gas hard, I noticed my fuel pump was squealing about a month ago. I also replaced the knock sensor's and harness but I am getting knock sensor harness again please help.

Need to watch AFR and compare with boost and fuel pressure. Hesitation could be a number of things, not sure on the knock sensor code, is it the code for detection of knock or for sensor not working? The TRD supercharged 3.4L has a history of a lot of problems... URD sells some good mods to make it safer, such as the 7th injector (basically a throttle body injector). One guy on here also runs a water/methanol injection kit, which does the same thing - cools down the intake air to prevent knock. But yeah we’re going to need a lot more data to really figure this out.

First thing to rule out with hesitation is if you have any leaking air/vacuum hoses connected to the intake and manifold.

    You have an AFR gauge?

Do you have any kind of fuel mods? 7th injector, methanol injection, high flow fuel pump, larger injectors, etc.

    Stock size or smaller pulley?

    Welcome to TW btw!
