2002 Clock Spring and Cruise Control.

Does anyone know if a non cruise control 2002 uses the same clock spring as a factory equipped cruise control. If I'm adding factory cruise do I have to change clock spring is basically what I'm asking.

I would think the clock spring sits behind the wheel (on the shaft) and the cruise is just a plug in wire on the outward facing side?

 

Correct but I was wanting to make sure it had the necessary connections for cruise control. Or is there a difference between non CC and CC.

 

I know the rear cover for the wheel itself is different but other than that I'm not sure

Wiring would also have to be present if you plan to use CC. Some did not come with CC but I think most 02+ were put on to get rid of stock for the upcoming model?
