2002 Double Cab TRD, SR5, 4WD, Auto, 3.4 V6

Alright fellas, I am putting my 2002 Tacoma up for sale in hopes of selling it to buy a new one this fall when I am able to save up enough money. I got a general consensus on what its worth since I posted a thread on the 1st gen forum. I know how popular they are among everyone, especially being a 1st Gen. so I'm hoping I can find a good home for it somewhere. Feel free to PM me regarding any questions you may have. All stock. Truck has been well maintained. The only rust is on the rear bumper since it is chrome. The truck still has good paint with a dime size nick on front driver side fender. Does have a few superficial dings, and I mean superficial. You have to look at a perfect angle in the light to even see them, they are close to invisible, but I thought I should mention that. I would give the truck an 8.5/10 regarding appearance of it. I wash it weekly and apply wax on it liberally. Also, the truck has never seen a hitch on it so it has towed next to nothing. I say next to nothing, because I did put a ball on the bumper to tow my quad about two miles down the road, but other than that it hasnt towed nothing.

Steering is tight, trans shifts as it should. Everything in good working order.

what kind of mpg you getting?

 

I get about 17-18 city

20-23 highway

Did you get the rust inspection yet?

 

I purchased it from a dealer (not toyota), and they said it had been inspected and passed. They said all I would need to do is take it in to get the undercoating spray done. However, I bought it out of state in PA and I live in Ohio, so I was going to get it rechecked at my local Toyota Store. I, myself, work at a car dealership and just had the oil change and had em put it up on a lift and I looked around with punch & hammer in hand and tried to find some weak spots. As of now, as far as my very limited mechanical expertise, the frame appears to be in good shape. As soon as I get time to take it to our toyota store I will do that.

you get 17-18 mpg in the city?? I must be doing something wrong cuz I'm only getting 12-13! GLWS!

A couple, one dude says he HAD to have power seats. Like it was a complete deal breaker. Thats like the last thing I look for.
