Was needed for max up travel/low ride height! It’s 4x2 boxtube and bottom of tube is 1” higher then top of factory frame location

Ya, been running this setup in my 3rd gen since 2013 with no issues, still stock gasket. Hoping the Tacoma will like it as much Garrett t3t4. Running a turbo smart fpr set at 65psi

Damn. Maybe I should consider a fpr. I have heat issues at only 5psi. I didn't think a fpr would help in closed loop though. Thought the ecu would tune it out after some driving to maintain 14.7.

 

Very nice. I figured that's what you were up to. I was thinking about doing something similar but I'm leaf sprung, so I don't know how it would hold up.

 

That seems waaay too easy... stock ecu and a fuel pressure regular to bump up the pressure..

 

Lol it’s worked for me, I drive it like a 2stroke once rpms are 3700 I let her eat

 

The last piece of the puzzle was pulling my 4.56 with the Detroit locker out of my 3rd gen and what do you know... cracked ring gear teeth!!! Fuckkkkkkk

Hoping my local 4wp store has everything in stock, I’m needing to take this to the woods!!like yesterday

 

Apparently g2 is completely out of 4.56 gears and not going to be cutting any anytime soon! So much for warranty through 4wp!!! I ended grabbing some Yukon’s and got them set-up this afternoon, happy with pattern after the second attempt hitting the local trails tomorrow finally

 

While I was awaiting parts I did some polishing on valve cover and installed rear limit straps. I also tied front link mounts to rears with some 1.75x.25 dom

 

What size coilover are you running for the front and rear?

After work boost cruise
I’ve been battling with low afr the past few weeks, truck would run great cruising around town but as soon as it saw a steady load on engine it would go rich 10afr and never recover.
Well I think I got it sorted out I pulled my o2 sensor and maf from my 3rd gen and now she’s running like it should!
Thinking the o2 was bad and wasn’t let ecu compensate in closed loop?
