I’m still driving my 02 Tacoma and am getting ready to swap the frame. I picked up a used frame a few years back out of Florida, had it blasted and powder coated, turned out really nice. The inside looks pretty good with no flaking and I plan to fluid film it.

I’ve wondered if putting holes “punched/flanged holes” in the side/inside of the frame would help keep it clean and not compromise the strength?

I’m sure I need new springs, front and rear and I know there were links on the forum of where to buy. Could someone link that for me please??? Thank you

I have equipment to lift the bed and cab and a shop to do all of this inside although I will probably be lifting both with a skid steer. I have basic tools with air and battery Milwaukee but I do not have torches, I can’t believe I don’t but I don’t. May pick those up in a week or two. I’m worried about clips for holding wiring and brake lines breaking when I try to change them. Is there a kit for this or have to order individually???

I would appreciate any and all advice I could get from you fellows on this as I’m sure I’m missing something to prepare for.

What should I plan on doing because it’s the easiest time to do it??? Another question,,, is this the most appropriate sub forum or should I put this in another? Don't want to clutter the forum up but I would like some eyes on this by hopefully someone who’s already been there. I may even try and document this in video or photos as my hillbilly voice probably isn’t that great to listen to.

Again, thanks for any and all advice!!!

Thanks, I know there’s lots of info on the forum and I’m reading just limited on time.
