what do you use the bed rack for (tent)? it's kind of an odd size. if the pictures are from when you first brought the truck home how long have you had the truck/ how old are the pictures?

Good call. Frame pictures added/ cl ad updated. I will add also this last winter was its first on salted winter roads

yes i used it for a cvt, worked perfectly. im using it now for my kayak. mines only an 8 foot so the kayak only sticks out about a foot from the back bumper. works great.

ive had the truck since april of 2015 so year and a few months. the last couple pics of the truck on the side of the road and the frame are current. Interior hasnt changed enough to warrant brand new pics.

I'll be that guy.....Love the truck man but that's roughly $7-8 more than an equivalent truck goes for. Not trying to be a dick.

    appreciate the feedback but
not up here.... good luck finding the same truck for 11 grand thats a joke dude. quick craigslist search had two image.jpg image.jpg double cabs granted they have lower miles but they want 17000 and 18500 for them respectivley, they have not even a quarter of the mods. so i dont think im too far off my rocker on price. no offense taken, its a specialty item, i dont expect it to sell in a day. open to offers too you never know

I stand corrected. That's just an insane price for that many miles. I hope you get it!

yeah in our washington state double cabs are stupid expensive. He has a good shot at selling it for that much to the right buyer.

Toyota Tax at its finest! haha but yea they start to hit 12-13 thou once it hits 230,000 + miles. the biggest reason i paid that much to begin with was the service history, previous owner was a military mechanic, i have a binder with EVERY service record. easily a 300,000 + engine in this truck no problem

Given the track record of the Gen 1...and with current '16 pricing at around $40K out the door...this is a fair price.

Only California pricing matches this, as I looked for 18 months and paid $15K for mine with 168,xxx and NO mods. The service records are also worth their weight in peace of mind.

    GLWS...

Paid $17k for my supercharged 04 TRD 4x4 with 24,300 miles on it this past March in SoCal.

That said, it was through a Toyota dealership and they initially wanted $20k. Being a dealership, they wanted it off the lot so I got it closer to what the KBB value was at. Private party sales are usually quite a bit higher for first gens, especially modded ones. Good luck with the sale

Yup, she's my unicorn alright :D I was looking for several months, one Friday night this popped up on Autotrader and I was there at the dealership 4 hours away the next morning before they opened lol.

I'm not sure what the 1st gen market is like out there but if you listed it in California you might get some hungry buyers looking to travel for the right truck, out here in SoCal first gens sell like hotcakes.

hahaha alright! with as few of brain cells you got left you should be focusing on breathing and finding food and water not purchasing a truck haha.

anyone have thoughts or input? ive had a couple offers, nothing to warrant me getting too excited about. i honestly see 17k bare minimum but thats just me a guess
