Its not stupid to make a mistake when fully installing a 02 sensor when you learn from it. When you posted to this thread we now all can learn from your mistake. My hat is off to you sir.

Thanks! Wasn't necessarily saying I was stupid for not knowing, just that I learned from the experience! My dad always told me it's not that smart people don't make mistakes (everyone does), it's that smart people learn from their mistakes and really smart people learn from other people's mistakes!

I have close to 150,000 miles on the Denso sensors I replaced when I bought the truck a few years ago

Hi everybody it's me again! I just wanna update y'all on everything! I've been been driving my truck to and from work everyday this week and not once has the check engine light illuminated! I've been trying to make sure I recalibrate the ecu while driving it everyday since I reset it after completing the repair last Saturday! It's about a 10-12 mile drive to work, the route I've been driving on the way to work is a combination of city and highway and the route I've been driving on the way home is primarily highway, I've been trying to maintain certain speeds when driving both routes in order to recalibrate the ecu! I just now plugged my scanner into the diagnostic port and it has green light with all monitors showing ready! Hot dawn! It's finally fixed! Thanks so much everybody for all your help and advice!
