Thanks...the truck was already line-X by the guy I bought it from. The only thing I did so far was have the front windows tinted and also a tint strip in the front.

Also, anyone know where I can find after market chrome power side mirrors and chrome door handles? I called Toyota and they quoted me around $600 for two Chrome OEM side mirrors and two chrome door handles:eek:

I have a friend that bought some chrome side mirrors off of ebay, but the power didn't work.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the site, I'll check it out.

If Horizon lines changes the same as Matson it will be $1000, that's how much I paid.

Shoot sounds good. I got a quote from that other company you said and was about $15-1600 from Utah all the way home. On the ship though the guy said it's in an enclosed part of the ship but still open to the ocean spray lol.

I guess it just depends if I wanna road trip it out to the west coast then ship out from there. Might as well since my bro lives out there.

Sick truck! I love the 1st gens, they're hard to find here for good price and in condition like yours.

You got less miles than my 2010 haha

The price sounds about right Utah to Cali then Hawaii.

I know Matson has a number of different ships they use and I'm sure some have enclosed garages and others may not. I would call and ask.

Thanks Chris, I agree...Toyota's hold their value in Hawaii.

Also, if anyone is interested, I found this stock 2003 limited Tacoma 4x4 with only 15,000 miles, it's at a dealership in Washington. A little pricey but I'm sure it's negotiable.

I'd install an alarm and a fuel pump kill switch asap.
My family had three cars stolen on Oahu, two of which were never seen again.

    hey OP,

Beautiful truck! I really like the shot where your rig is parked next to the shore. :)

Where did you get those seat covers? They look nice and form fitting.

    Hey BigOly,

The seats, inside door panel and fold down rear seats were done in leather by a company "Classic Soft Trim"

    Thanks!
