I own a 2002 Tacoma with a 2.7, Transmission line cracked at the fitting. Is it possibly to remove the fitting from the side of the transmission and does anyone know if one can just replace the fitting with a short section of pipe and replace the rest to the radiator with rubber? Thank You in advance!

Absolutely possible to remove from the side. Replacing as you outlined, not sure.

Shouldn't be expensive to replace the line. You'll need to deep dive search your 2.7 via VIN at partsouq (https://partsouq.com/en/catalog/genuine/locate?c=Toyota) but as an example, Cooler tube#1 on the A340F is about 35 USD.
