This is the replacement truck for my 97 frame rot truck. Need to get a game plan for mods!
I have a 2002 Tacoma 4x4 TRD that turns on the left turn signal... front and rear... solid on state... when I hit the brakes. And when I use the turn signal and then hit the brakes it locks up the flasher until I let off the brakes and then resumes flashing.

The only other electrical type problem started a few months back in winter... the Dome light is not being activated by the drivers door most of the time. Sometimes when it does turn on it just fades to off fairly quickly.

Any body have either of these two problems before... I have had sticky door dome light switches before on other trucks but I am not sure if these are related or just everything is beating me down at once:)

Sorry to vent just a little lost here.

    Thanks in advance!

I also have a turn signal problem :( I thought it was the flasher...replaced it with a new one...same problem  must be a loose wire or bad ground somewhere...I hate electrial probs...

Mine ended up being the aftermarket trailer light conversion kit. It must of had a short... I unhooked it and plugged my lights into the factory harness and all is well... Good luck!
