My 02 Tacoma's frame is being replace under the recall in a few weeks here when the frame is delivered to the dealership and I wanted to hear from anyone else who's gone through the process if they replaced anything else?

It's rusty under there and i'd imagine some bolts, fuel and brake lines are going to need to be cut or ground off. Will i see a bill for these? Also what about crossmembers, possibly shocks, struts, control arms? Would these be tacked on the bill to toyota if they needed to be replaced, or would I get that?

Also my exhaust, cat-back, is rotted to hell, would they replace this for just the cost of parts and spare me the labor tag? I remember seeing someone mention something like that somewhere on here.

Any info is appreciated, thank you

The search function is now my friend; from what i gather now, it seems that rear leafs, front lower control arms, brake lines and fluid, coolant and obviously the frame are what's included. Missing anything?

Also i'd like to go ahead and have them replace my shocks while its apart, because it seems like most dealerships wont charge labor (ill clarify with my dealer tomorrow) It looks like the bilstein 5100's are the ideal replacement, but should i replace my front springs as well or will they work with the 5100's? The truck isnt lifted, nor do i plan to ever lift or lower it and there's only about 87k miles on it.

Also anyone ever have the oil pan replaced during this process? Mines rusty and dripping and if labor is free.. what the hell.
