Hey guys and gals I'm new to the forum but love my Tacoma. So today I was driving down the road and had cruise control engaged noticed all of a sudden I was slowing down and never touched the break or anything to disengage the cruise control. I tried to re- engage it and get the light to come on the dash but nothing happens. Came home looked around everything seems ok tried again and nothing.

Any help in the right direction would be great. 2002 pre runner 4 cyl automatic.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Did you check your fuses? Sounds like that is what may be the problem, cheap easy fix if it is. I want to say that it's a 5 or 15 amp fuse but can't remember. The diagram under the lid will tell you.

If it's not labeled under the lid, there should be a diagram in the owner's manual. Again, I am not 100% certain. Been through so many fuse panels and boxes in my life that they are all kind of a jumbled mass of memory now.

So I checked all the fuses and they are fine so I'm not sure what to check next. All the break lights are working and what not but still no cruise control. Any other ideas?
