^^^ couldn't have said it better. My cummins is registered in Wisconsin and I love that emissions arnt needed. With building a truck like this, it isn't even that it's more difficult, it's a waste of money really. To cut a perfectly good street legal truck up is just dumb and I greatly regret it. With how much time and money I've put into designing all this shit, I could have done the same thing to a full tube chassis and been a million times happier. And not to mention the other truck would actually fit on a trailer.

Unfortunately there are several counties here that have emissions testing, this being one of them. And nobody at the DMV seems to have a f*^#ing clue about any of this stuff, I assume because nobody in this state does any wheeling. Hell, they told me that if you have WI plates, it's illegal to off-road anywhere in the country haha.

But yeah, I realized it was a waste of money as well (After the fact of course  ). For what I have left of the original truck, I could pieced together from salvage yard parts for probably ~ $2k.

not sure if this was answered but I pulled my airbags. You should have a separate light for the airbag in the dash, I just pulled the light bulb out of the back of the dash. I am not 100% about Cali but here in AZ the airbag light is not required to come on, then go away like the CEL

Ok I need someone to lend me about 5 minutes with their 1.25" bender die. I need to bend my tie rods a tad and am too poor to afford the new die.

    Ok it's spring trade out time. I have a 10" 550lbs spring and a 13" 600lbs. I'm looking for a 8" 600 and a 12 or 13 inch 700. Lemme know if anyone can help me out.

Oh not a damn thing. Finally located proper hubs rotors and calipers. Last of it really is finish a way to steer this truck then wire it all back up. Really not too far out, just remodeling the master bath in my house so it's on the back burner yet again.

I meant what was the deal with the hubs not matching the rotors?

Ruffstuff has morons running their web page. Plain and simple. Never again will I buy so much as a tab from that company let alone anything else. Used to have spot on customer service, it went to shit like the majority of offroad supply company's left.

i would like to send another HUUUGE thank you out to ruffstuff for being cocksuckers. got under the truck and began building in the steering... well, because the original hub and rotor combination that they had on their site that listed it as IFS parts, i built it with those parts and measurements... now... the new hub brings the rotor in toward the truck... and guess what... the fucking cup on the lower arm grabs the damn rotor as it cycles.

FUCK YOU RUFFSTUFF. I HOPE YOUR FUCKING BUILDING BURNS TO THE GROUND! OVER A YEAR INTO THIS FUCKING SUSPENSION AND BECAUSE OF YOUR LACK OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL WHILE ADVERTISING A PART, I NOW HAVE TO START AT SQUARE ONE.

anyone have some stock IFS spindles laying around i can get my hands on? gunna be another long year

Well the front end is coming back together now after my little melt down. Headed back to the drawing boards with the stock 4x spindles from the pickup. Sadly, it's now pushing the tires out an additional 1.75" so it's damn near 8 over per side compared to the 6 I originally planned for. Wide pig.
