how much is the arm hitting the rotor? Why not just build a new spindle with the hub pushed out a little.

OP, you've built damn near everything else on your truck by yourself... Would it be that much harder to build custom spindles? I mean obviously they would be harder than fabbing like a UCA. But I feel like you could definitely do it, why use the pickup spindles that look like toothpicks? :notsure:

Hopefully after today y'all will see a truck sitting on its front end for good. I've worked out the issues with the spindles and lemme tell ya... It's been fun.

Final touches on spindles this morning then together she goes. Was able to use the stock steering arms from the old pickups so that sped the process along greatly.

Anyone know someone looking for new hubs and rotors for a solid axle pickup? I have brand new rotors, pads, bearing races, and studs into these things. Drop me a pm if interested

I have not purchased a pump yet. I put one in hold at vato zone to pick up first thing but if you've got a spare you don't need I always like parts! Haha just trying to get it running ASAP as I start my torture in school on Monday. I've loaded my classes schedule to 18 credits so I have no time for the truck or the mental block it will put on me knowing it needs to be finished. I can't do school with a looming project of this magnitude.

It's yours if you want it. Factory pump I pulled when I did the URD kit. I have an extra walbro I keep handy so I don't need the factory one.

I'll take it off your hands for a spare then. I do greatly appreciate it.

On a side note, got the fuel pump humming and the engine cranking. For some reason however I have a series of relays including the EFI relay that will not activate. Odd thing is voltage is there, ground ohms out, and on trigger with key all voltages show where they need to be. I've tried 3 new relays and 2 old (all of which work fine on other circuits). I've plugged the multimeter into the computer white/red wire (Battery hot) and show no voltage at the computer either.... Anyone wanna take a stab at it?

PM me your address and I'll drop it in the mail.

Check the main fuses? I forgot which ones they are but I blew on the of the main fuses and lost a few circuits including power to the ECM.

Well it's all come down to a p0100, p0101, and p1300 codes. First two are mass airflow and I'm not worried about fixing. The third is the kicker. Igniter circuit fault. Only info I can find is test wires between igniter and computer for opens or shorts. Did that and no opens or shorts. New ignition module, crank and can sensors, last thing is the ecu according to the wiring diagrams. Shit!
