I want to get the yellow lights on my grill for my Tacoma. But the thing is all the kits or any light I search up are for the new Tacoma’s.its like they don’t have them for the 1 gen. What should I do to get them on my truck like you see in this red Tacoma.

Don’t buy a kit, just go on Amazon and find amber LEDs similar to mine. You will have to wire them into your DRLs. The process takes maybe an hour and a half.

I bought lights like that but the wiring I’m stuck on. Can I maybe get your snap or number so I can send you a pic and show you.

Depends on when you want them to turn on. You should just be able to splice into the headlight power wire and a ground.

Or splice into the corner marker lights.

Those LEDs are super low amperage, so you should worry about overloading the circuits.

Use a quick splice, it's super easy. just smear with dialectic grease and wrap it with tape if you get a lot of corrosion.

What are you stuck on? red = positive, black is ground.

First thing is to physically mount the lights where you want them, then worry about wiring.

It helps to draw it out (wiring diagram) if you like.

How do you want them to turn on? Turn on your driving lights (first click of the switch) and your driving (side corner lights) should come on. I honestly don't remember if they stay on when you turn your full headlights on, so check that to be sure.

Once you determine which lights you want your new ones to come on with, find the wires that power those lights. If you don't have a multi-meter. Stop everything and go get one right now. They're like $20 at O'Reily's.

Yes, they will stay on with head lights when wired to DRLs.

Not everyone has DRLs tho, especially 1st gens. I don't. I'm pretty sure my corner lights stay on, it's just been a while since I've stared at my lights so I wasn't 100% sure.
