Hey everyone I’m having a terrible time figuring out what’s happening to my truck I have a 2002 Tacoma extended cab I have just put Front Shocks and Coils and a add a leaf and bilstein 5100 rear shocks on the truck it is a 3 inch lift .when I drive it it feels wobbly on speed bumps and turns I do have 16 inch tires on it.it also pulls to the left when breaking and it goes right just when driving I’ve had it to a dozen mechanics and they say it’s always the tires and alignment but that’s not the case if anyone can help me diagnose this issue that would be great thanks.

Any chance your sway bar is loose, or those end link bushings on it are shot or loose..

What about the rear bushings, on the leaf's and shackles...

I don’t believe that’s the issue the weird thing about it is the truck literally has all brand new parts In the front end from breaks, rotors, calipers lower and upper ball joints enter tie rods and outer, axel

Could a wheel bearing be the prob?

Were any of these symptoms present before lifting it?

If you can get it on a lift or four jack stands you might be able to go through and find something that has an excessive wobble to it. Lower control arm or steering rack bushings would be the first culprits I'd rule out.

The pulling the left when breaking has been there but I forget what bushing fixed it but it was back before the lift went on

Could the lift be the problem?

If installed properly the lift shouldn't be the problem. It likely exacerbated an underlying suspension-related issue.

Ok I’m hoping the lift is ok it was very expensive for me. The truck has been sitting in a garage for 6 years and the frame and other parts completely crumbled so everything is replaced.truck only has 54000 original miles on it. Just trying to figure out the pulling the left when breaking and the right pull while driving.the wheel is a little cocked to the right.but sometimes the truck is completely fine not an issue at all then other times it’s every single issue I’ve said is going on happens just very confusing.

Have a friend the steering wheel lock to lock (left and right), with the engine running and crawl underneath and watch your steering rack for movement where it works to the frame. If the bushing have play and allow this it could explain your symptoms.

Edit: obviously ensure the truck is in park or neutral when crawling underneath. Safety first.

Ok I’ll definitely give that a try I appreciate all the opinions. I don’t know why but I feel the 3 inch lift has a big part in it all.I mean could it be a wheel bearing?

Can you explain wobbly a little bit more? If all those mechanics said it was tires and alignment what have you done to verify that it is not? Some brands of offroad tires are known to pull one direction. What size and type of tire are you running?
With a 3" lift, unless you went with some aftermarket UCA's you probably can't get the alignment in spec. Shouldn't cause a pull one way though.

So this is with the lift on.so when your turning the truck it like wobbles almost as if the lift feels like it’s not tight or something it just feels loose.tires I run size 16 they are Goodyear adventure with cevlar.I’ve gotten the tires balanced and rotated them.the UCA is aftermarket

Wobble like side to side? 16" is just the wheel diameter but it looks like a pretty tame A/T tire no bigger than 265/75 16. So 1 up from stock TRD size. Hard to tell if you are experiencing that wobble only exiting speed bumps or all around driving. If something was loose I would expect it to be a condition that occurs more often than just on speed bumps.

When I first installed my lift and had 3"+ of lift the only thing I noticed was the shocks topping out over speed bumps. That subsided in short time after the initial settling of the coils.
