    Title: Clean

    Intro
When I bought it, I was out a vehicle and knew I wanted a 1st gen Tacoma. For some reason in Utah at the time, a 1st gen was next to impossible to find; let alone, a well-priced Tacoma. At 11:00 pm one night, a new ad was posted for this bad boy for $12,000. I gave him a call and said I would come pick it up (6 hour drive) that next morning for $10,400. Because he was moving and ready to sell ASAP, he agreed to the transaction. I was so skeptical of the true condition because how negotiable he was. To my surprise, everything checked out. No issues, no dents, scratches. Everything went over perfectly for such short notice.
    The day I bought it.

    Second Mod
It was my birthday, and my wonderful girlfriend let me choose a subwoofer setup. :D I locally bought and installed them myself to the stock stereo system. For now.
    • Rockford Fosgate P3D2-12 Subwoofer
    • Rockford Fosgate R5001XD Amplifier
The bass is absolutely retarded. I can not turn it all the way up and remain conscious. Good stuff. You know what they say: if it's too loud, your too old. Right?

    Maintenance
I decided to change the oil and used Mobil-1 Full Synthetic.
About a week later I changed the driver's side upper ball joint. It was truly a pain in the ass. I am very experienced and learning myself. It was a learning experience and I enjoyed working on my truck. Here's a link to the write-up.

I also detailed the interior, shampoo'd the carpets, wax etc.

Went on my first trail to Toquerville Falls. Also stopped at Sand Hollow and took this:

Repainted Front Bumper, Pulled the trigger on a set of 33x12.5x15 General Grabber AT2s along with some Black Rock D-Windows. Should be on at the end of the week!

Since I bought the 33x12.5s, I've had to do a little bit of modifications so that I wouldn't rub the wheel wells. I have also installed a new Sony Mex5100bt. Cleaned up a couple rust and chips on the body, cleaned my MAF sensor and throttle body, performed a coolant flush, changed my brake pads and am in the process of servicing the rear shoes and front discs. I'm also looking into getting new headlights because my corner light fell off... ? Below is a current picture besides the fact that I installed my Hella 500s.

My corner light came loose and flew off on the highway. So I decided it was time for an upgrade. Purchased ZMAutoParts Headlights and Xentec H4 Flex Bixenon 6000k. I really like the look of the one piece headlights and am very happy about the light output compared to stock!
I also changed out the battery terminal clamps because one snapped in half when I was tightening it.

Sitting at just under 200k now, I haven't ran into any major issues. I love this truck! Most everything I have done to it consists of preventative maintenance.
    Since my last post:
    • Polyurethane Steering Rack Bushings
    • Polyurethane Control Arm Bushings (Do not recommend changing this yourself, it was an absolute nightmare.) To me though, it was worth the hell.
    • Tie Rods
    • Lower Ball Joints
    • Headlights shorted out, replaced them with 8000k.
    • Radiator cracked...switched it along with hoses
    • New Brakes

    3/25/18
    Replaced CV axles...Torn boots.
Replaced coilover assembly with new Bilstein 5100 and OME 882s.

I haven't had any issues with them besides my poor sealing skills.
