I am new to this forum, so forgive me if this is a repetitive question for you all.

Question I have is, that I plan to upgrade my stock suspension.
I am very interested in the following package that has been set up for me by a local shop, and I am very tempted in pulling the trigger on going ahead with it all.

My truck isn't driven everyday, and it only has 32k miles on the odo.
Still has original TRD suspension, and even has the original BFG rugged trail tires. It's an extra cab, V6, 5-spd, auto lock front hub, and OEM locker rear.

Currently, I am just unhappy with the suspension and tires. The tires are due for replacement, so I am just gonna replace everything at once.
My off road style is desert exploration (none to little roads), mountain 4-wheeler trails, mostly dry dirt stuff with the rare mud/snow conditions.
Highway driving to Vegas, and up to North CA to visit family about once a year.

Just looking for opinions, good or bad I don't care.

    Total Chaos upper control arms
Fox front shocks 0-3" coil-over set with remote reservoir
    Bilstein rear shocks
Deaver rear spring additional spring packs
4 Toyo all terrain 32/11.50 R16 tires mounted/balanced on OEM wheels
    Front diff drop brackets
    Urethane steering rack bushings
    Alignment

Day's worth of labor/parts, for a total out the door cost of 4,100.00

go with after market wheels that have 4-4.5'' backspacing so the tires will fit better, but thats a pretty sweet setup your looking at

1st gen doesn't need the aftermarket UCAs so you could save some money there...

the Fox coilover valving for the light body of a 1st gen is a lil firm...

    my vote,

    King coilovers - $975
    Deaver J59s - $600
    Custom 6" shackles - $125
    Bilstein 7100 10" short body shocks - $400

$2,100 for your suspension parts, front and back...

leaves you with enough money to get new wheels and tires...

Interesting. Thanks for the heads up on the UCA, and the difference between Fox and King. I did not realize that, and appreciate these type of comments!

    Keep em coming!

    Thanks
