I need help with wheels you guys. The general consensus is that my current ones don't belong.

I believe that 4.5 back spacing is what I need. I want to go with black wheels with machined highlights....so not all black. Ideas?

I think I found some that are right but it says +1 mm offset. Will that work?

I think black with some red highlights would go well. Kind of like the motegi wheels...

Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. As far as rims I’m all googlie eyes over SCS wheels right now, specifically they’re Ray 10. It’s absolutely beautiful! I think the Ray 10 in matte grey would look great on your truck!

Oh heck yes! Those are it man. I like the ray 10 gunmetal color. I'm going with those...accept they're out of stock. Looks like I'll be waiting a little bit.

I think they're mostly for tuner cars, but there might be something similar on the truck side.

But I agree on the Ray10's, they're pretty great. I have some Discount Tire replica version of them.

Thanks for the tip Magic. I have fell in love with these SCS's though.

Talked with Vuth at SCS. Next shipment won't be until May! So....I guess I will be watching that website like a hawk and will have to wait til then to purchase them. Guess that will give me some time to make up my mind on whether to go with Matt gray or the gunmetal.

I'm on a 16 hour layover in Gainesville today so.... I finally got a chance to drive up to lake City and see my truck in person since it's been painted! Pictures don't do it justice is all I can say.

Dad has been busy with work and just getting the truck put back together. So when I got there it was dirty and hasn't really been finished yet. There are a few places with a little orange peel and a few slight droops in the clear coat. He laughed and said not to worry; all of that will wet sand and buff out perfectly. I will be bring it home next weekend!! I think I'm going to rename it Mr. T.

Just keeping it on the road. My money maker. 500-800 miles a week. Replacing what I need, when it needs it.
This is the first time I read through every page of one thread. This truck is absolutely gorgeous.

    Very well done!!

Thanks man! I'm glad you have enjoyed reading through it. One side of me is really excited about it and another side is kind of sad a little because my trail exploring is probably going to be a little lighter for a while.

I can't wait to get it home next week and slap some new wheels a tires on!
