The time has come to part with my first born. This is a 2003 Honda RC51 that was bought new in October of 2003. This bike has 36,XXX miles currently, ~20,000 were put on the first year I owned it. This bike has several mods and has been professionally maintained. Some of the mods include Jardine 2-1 with titanium can, Power Commander PCIIIR, Sato rear sets, Sato clip ons, CRG levers (shorty brake and standard clutch), Ohlins steering damper, Fabbri windscreen. This bike will come with a carbon fiber tail as well as the stock Honda tail. The flapper valve mod and PAIR mods were all performed before this bike left the dealership.

The bike had a head gasket replaced under warranty around 30,000 miles and has had all scheduled maintenance performed.

There are a few chips on the front upper and one scratch on the left side of the upper.

$4,000 OBO, Must sell!! I really need to get rid of this as it just sits in my garage now and hardly gets ridden.

Bump for the weekend. I really need this gone. I would also consider a trade for a TRD blower for the 4.0 and some cash. I will also help with shipping or delivery.

I wish my bike didn't sit in the garage as much as it does or I might be able to talk my wife into letting my buy yours.

    GLWS man...Those RC51s are a GREAT rail.

Nothing like the old V-twins. I had one of the old suzuki TL-R's before I went with the GSXR-1000. I always had a thing for the deep rumble.

Free hatred bump!! I hate Honda with a passion, but love the RC51! And it looks like you did it right and didn't just hack it up by throwing on every last bit of aftermarket bullshit you could find! Sweet ride and good luck with the sale!!!

Has the bike been laid down? Why is there rash on the swingarm and the nose fairing?

The bike has not been laid down. The scratches on the upper fairing are from storing it in my apartment. I moved it in the door one time and brushed the upper against the door frame. The scratches on the swing are are from the old chain slider. It broke and was rubbing the swingarm a bit before I realized it was broken. You can see it in that pic of the swingarm but it has since been fixed.

Thanks for the bumps fellas. These do get some what hot in the city during the summer but if you keep a full tank of gas in it, it's not that bad.

Nice bike, always liked the 51's. It's a Honda and will run forever, nothing beats a Honda.

Bump for a price drop. I'm very serious about selling this and I really need for it to go!! I have no problem helping with delivery in the SE or working out some kind of shipping.
