This is here because the silly 50 posts requirement in buy/sell/trade won't allow it. I understand the reasoning but I don't have that many words that anyone wants to hear. :p

    Seeking a fuse opening cover for a 2003 Taco, P/N 55545-04060-E0
, (I believe that is a gray but not 100% sure) for a reasonable price. The one I have is a darker brown and doesn't match the rest of the interior.

"Reasonable" would be $20 or less, I know trim and detail items are generally more costly but it's a simple piece of 3 x 4 plastic.

For whatever reason previous owner painted it light blue, I washed off with acetone, still looks good, trade possible if anyone needs one.

I've hit local junkyards before and Tacos are unicorns here.

<rant>I spent hours yesterday looking everywhere for these and not only are they over priced at $24+, dealers and fleabay sellers want to charge $20+ for shipping for a 1-2 ounce piece of plastic that will fit in an envelope and cost a buck to ship. I'd like to get it fixed but it's not worth that much!</rant>

Thanks, the "charcoal" ones I found seemed dark (???) I looked this one up by VIN and that's the number I got. This is a lighter gray - here's a (crappy) pic with the brown one in so you can see the difference. That's the other thing, always suspicious of colors online because they don't really share reality, in this one at least you can see the brown against the gray.

It's not a big deal but little stuff like this drives me nuts. :-D

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Interesting that sure looks like the gray interior (2000) I have I need to look if That cover is still on .

I tend to lose things like that quite often. Out of sight out on mind.

I wonder if your interior was changed??

01-04 are either charcoal grey or oak.
00 and older are Oak and a blueish grey.

That crossed my mind. It's entirely possible, when I bought it (2018) I was surprised at the interior, it looked like it was all replaced, no rips in the seats, almost spotless. Anyway the pic kinda shows the tone of the dash and it all appears to match. Another rant, someone had painted the steering wheel and column pieces all the same light blue, spend 3 hours washing it all off with acetone and found no cracks or defects, can't figure out why someone would do that. :-\

    this is correct

The oak also changed during those same year ranges.
    01-04 is lighter oak
    95-00 is darker oak

some pieces stayed the same though

If you ever find a matching one, I'll take your brown one. It won't match mine but better than the one that isn't there.

My local dealer has the oak one for $16. I can't find the part number for the gray one.

That one looks like a lighter tone, see pic above. I found one on eBay that looks that color on the front, but the back side pic looks like the right tone. Meh . . . I might take a $19 gamble on it.

My VIN says it's E0, but the dash panels could have been switched out. I took a better look around today and not sure why I never noticed this. The inner panels are all light gray but the entire dash including the top below the windshield is the same darker color as in the above pic. You can see the lighter color on the kick panel in the above pic.

I just thought it was two tone by design, not sure why someone would go through all that trouble to change out the dash!

Then leave the fuse cover brown and paint it and the steering wheel column light blue. LOL . . .

This VIN doesn't show up for any accidents, in fact there's no data on it. Puzzling.

I'm going to take a shot at this one, $19/F/S. It looks right but color balance is so inconsistent on teh Internetz it could be something else. If it matches @d33pt l'll send you mine, no charge, thanks everyone for helping out. Now we wait LOL

Damn that sucks. That did not look brown at all. Why are there so many brown fusebox covers floating around?
