    Just found this in my garage after getting rid of my first gen several months ago. OEM gas cap installed less than 2 days. I had a check engine light for EVAP code and wanted to try gas cap first, ended up being the seal on top of tank. I am thinking $15 plus the ride if someone needs a spare. I want to say they are over $30 brand new.

    The main seal on the large circle on top which I believe holds the sending unit on the inside of tank. Looks like about $7.50 to get it shipped to the west coast.

    I noticed the OEM ones don't come stamped with the Toyota logo like my factory one had.

    It came off my 2003 I had. I will agree though my 99 didn't have one because it had the holder on the door.

    Huh that's awesome, when I need a replacement I'll look for one with a tether. I always thought first gens didn't have them.
