Northeast climate finally claimed my antenna and my visegrips put the nail in the coffin.

Likely need the entire stalk to be replaced. Anyone know the procedure to get replace the whole assembly that sits on top of the passenger fender?

Your gonna have to fish the line from behind the stereo and its zip tied in a couple of places.
At least it was in my son's 4runner. Also you don't have to pull the fender just the liner.

I can`t recall just what year went to the short pigtail on the antenna .

Pull radio and unplug antenna .

When I changed mine it had no cable ties no idea if it was done before .

Since mine was also rusted I did what I had to either drilled or cut with a cutting disc can`t recall being careful to save any parts that might be needed.

It falls out the bottom the coax is pulled out install new antenna . I just bought what the Local Auto parts had in stock.
