Hey anybody who stops by. I bought a 2003 Tacoma TRD auto double cab 3.4 4x4 w elocker, I fixed most all issues with the truck, however the abs light will go out if i jumper the obd pins and pump the brakes 8 times. Im getting a 34, and a 39 code. I know it seems there is no 39 code, the only 39 ive found is foreign debris on the sensor which I cleaned off, and bought a new sensor. 34 I hope is my driver side which Ive been dinkin with and I wanna just give up.

I changed the inner seal, i had diff oil all over it, it seems to be gone now and all clean in there. My abs tone ring looks like its right there on time, however it does have a slightly bad bearing with a lil wobble, not much at all. Im going to change it soon but I cannot believe that would cause my problem at the speeds im driving around the block and back. I changed the abs sensor with a cheapo from Amazon. I want to check the green red wires at the abs module but I really dont wanna mess around with that and screw myself, but i cant find what pins they are at the module for rear left. I checked the BN7 connector under the seat, looks okay all greased up under there.

Im getting like .780 ohms at both rear sensors. I tried to voltmeter it while I spin the tire but I get nothing. I checked the right pass side and same deal no output, but it works. I was checking the sensor with the light out. Im so lost I dont know what to do next. Can somebody, anybody please please, help me out before it snows up here in MN. Can some person walk me thru diagnosing this thing. Im going crazy here.

sounds like the worn bearing ate the seal which oiled the tone ring sending an abs code. Is this a correct interpretation of your post? if Yes, i suspect the WSS is being affected by the worn bearing. Hard to tell by reading your post but it sounds like new bearing, seal and sensor are needed.

I bought a combo rear right and rear left abs sensor on Amazon for 22 dollars. I installed the new rear left sensor. The Abs light comes back on after driving 1 block. I installed a new oem toyota inner seal with the number 6 newer design seal, no more diff fluid in there. Light still on. I checked the resistance of the wires, im getting .780 ohms
I guess im asking which pins on bn7 is the red green wire for the abs on connector bn7, and on the abs module. On this diagram I found for the bn7 connector I found it says pins 19 and 20, but that doesnt have a red or green wire on either of those. I opened up the bearing and cleaned it out and pressed new grease in it by popping the plastic cover off and squeezing it in there. Yes I thought it was the diff fluid making the light turn on, but now its totally dry after the new inner seal install. I think im left with the bearing sending an erratic signal, but its not that bad. A slightly bad bearing can turn on the ABS light?

Can I voltmeter these sensors to see if its picking up the tone ring, im getting nothing just spinning the wheel and checking the voltmeter, i got positive on white, and negative on black from the sensor and both of them arent giving me a reading. Also I tested it straight off the sensor with clips and nothing. But if i wave a magnet over it, the sensor works. Im a huge fan of south main auto on youtube, and yes im resetting the abs light each time Im checking the sensor in case the ecu is shutting down the circuit.

Can maybe someone tell me which pins are at the abs module and connector bn7 for the rear left sensor?

Is this the right diagram for a 2003? https://images.app.goo.gl/bCRkbpRzQsG2uJDm6[IMG]
