    bilstein shocks/struts Add-a-leaf Mostly stock. Running 31x10.5 r15
    Around $2-3K

    Pump alone is around $1.5K

Doing it myself I can find a refurb for about 1K plus my labor. I already have the software which would have been an additional 1K.

All because the pump is rated for a certain amount of pedal presses.

This may not be your problem. But something to check for future reference and troubleshooting when you can't find an issue with the starter engaging.

Was the truck originally sold in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and Mississippi? If yes, it may be equipped with the Gulf States Toyota alarm system. The systems were installed in Houston TX on arrival in the US.

Here's a thread about the system.

Haven't read the other posts but check the fuse for the fuel pump. Make sure the fuel system is up to par..

The truck hot wires and runs great.

I did get suckered. Evidently my daughter, yes i blame my daughter, she could not tell the difference from the head light relay activating and vibrating the fuse box and the actual starter relay activating. OK, i am the one teaching so i should have checked as well. I puled the starter relay and checked the coil side. NO INCOMING VOLTAGE! DAM! Yes Yes. I should have pilled relay and just checked voltage from get go.

I jumped pin 5 of starter relay to pin 3, only contacting and not plugging in. Key in on position, starter cranks like a charm and she fires right up.

Checked voltage from key to STA fuse. All good. Checked voltage from key to PIN 9 of the neutral safety switch connector. All good. Jumper voltage from pin 9 of neutral safety switch connector to pin 6. No go.

The harness from neutral safety switch, and others combined at junctions. Come over transmission, up into engine compartment, all over engine and around engine. Up into firewall above glove box to ECM/ECU, IK2 connector and others, over dash, back down to driver cock pit, over steering column, all over hte place, then back out fire wall at IF1 and to the under hood relay fuse box. LMAO

    1 connector, IK2, and 2 junction blocks behind dash, J/B3e and J/B 3. I ain't disassembling the dash yet.....

Am going to work backwards from connector IF1 into the mess of wires all around steering column and see if i can find a brake / chafe before opening dash and glove box too see if a mouse made a house and nibbled a wire...............Already checked voltage at pin 21 of IF1. no go.

As a side note. I got all OCD and isolated the alarm system. Completely and was easy to do by walking the install instructions backwards. Will reinstall once i find them missing 12 volts for the starter relay.

My real hope is that it is not a chafe hidden deep down in the belly of mess of wires all around the engine.

    Back to it tonight...........

That's what I call proper diagnostic. You have already NOT replaced at least 3 components that otherwise dealer would charge you for:cool:.
