    I am 16 and have a 2003 tacoma trd prerunner and want to start making modifications for horsepower and sound? Please help?

    spindle lift with dakar leaf pack, blacked out headlights and tailights, satoshi, debadged, HID headlights n fogs, flowmaster 40 single in dual out
    it depends on how much you want to spend. your best power mod is gana be a supercharger. the apr x-1 is another expensive mod. the cheaper things you can do are headers, intake and exhaust.

    for sound just look at youtube. they also have an exhaust sound thread with a whole bunch of different sounds. flowmaster is going to be the loudest in my opinion.

    THanks kris and ya the trd supercharger would be sick but im loooking for the exhaust system route and the CIA. What exhaust do you suggest?

    The deck plate mod is an easy and quick mod.

    no problem. well if you want a little bit better exhaust then a catback with a dynomax super turbo muffler would be good. it wont be the loudest though. the deck plate mod is pretty safe. many people on this forum have done it. as long as you dont go underwater with the cap off then your good.

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    I went with a Helix Power Tower Plus Throttle body spacer & a K&N CAI from www.autopartswarehouse.com and can feel some nice power gains and you gota love the sound. The next thing I'm doing is opening up the exhaust with a cat-back system.
    I think that's a good place to start.

    whats the Helix Power Tower Plus Throttle body spacer and did you notice a hp gain.
