2003 tacoma v6 wont start

    Hi guys new here and new to the Tacoma world. long story short bought the2003 Tacoma trd v6 3 days ago decided to clean the interior today .spent couple hours cleaning with the music on drained the battery .tried to jump it no start ,took the battery of my wife rav4 and now it cranks but won't start .battery cables got very hot and I here a noise coming from one of the throttle plug I have the one with out the aic . Never had something like this happened just by draining the battery. Any input . Thanks in advance

    What size battery came out of the rav 4? It may not have enough juice to start the v6 in your truck.

    Thanks for the advice guys . Got up early this morning and the truck started but with a lot of white smoke . When I get back from work gonna try to determine if the pump stays on when I have it with acc on .can that white smoke mean it got flooded with gas?

    Yep. Injectors leaked by the whole time you had the key on, but not running. It's common.

    Huh. With the key in ACC (not on) the injectors leak? Is that by design, or a flaw?

    And, if that's the case, I guess it wouldn't start because it was flooded?

    Fascinating. Unless you're the one it happened to.

    If you had not had the radio going, you would have been able to hear the fuel pump cycling to to to maintain fuel pressure.
