2003 tacoma with code p2112

Tacoma with a p2112 code, whenever the car is shifted into either drive or reverse it goes to around 3000 rpm then shuts off
It is a 3.4l v6 auto, I have no idea what it can be I've checked the tps connector and it has 5 volts that's really all I checked, I took off the the intake hose to see inside the throttle body and it looks clean I've seen some people say on this forum that it may be a transfer case solenoid but If u guys have any info or tips you can give me that will be very helpful

 

Has anyone had this problem or know somebody who did, or if anyone can help point out the problem
