My 2003 Taco blows a fuse when we use the rear differential lock on rough 4wd roads and put it in reverse (to park or turn around ).
It's the fuse for the cruise control, fuel injection, and center brake light;it's a 10 amp fuse.
Is there something wrong with using the rear differential lock to reverse?

Thank you. any suggestions as to how I find it? Also, it seems weird that the rear differential lock is on the circuit labeled cruise control.

Which fuse is blowing? Start checking that wiring or start by checking those connections

probably a wire rubbing if it only does it when turning or whenever

K9 -it's a 10 amp fuse that the says it's for cruise control, brake light, and multi-port fuel injection. While we drive on very rogh 4wd roads (up to 14er trailheads in Colorado ), it runs fine with the differential lock engaged. But, when we have used it engaged to park at the campsite, or turn around, it works for a while.
But, when we turn off the engine, and then tried to turn it back on, the gearshift lever was stuck in park. It would not move, and I could not shift it into drive or reverse. Also, the car could be pushed to the side of the road. The gear shift (it's automatic ) is in park, but the car acts as though it was in neutral.
This first happened last week, many miles up a steep ,rough dirt road. Luckily some jeepers stopped, moved my truck, and a friend replaced the fuse.
Yesterday it blew a fuse 3 more times when using the differential lock.
