Here's a link to my Craigslist ad with more photos and a better description here:

    https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/cto/d/salem-2003-toyota-tacoma-trd-4x4-double/7100803916.html

My price is $16,000 firm and I won't take a penny less. I'll ignore you if you offer me anything other than $16,000.

Can you find a better example for cheaper? Quite possibly. If so, I encourage you to buy it, as I could care less. My price is firm, and if you have a problem with it, I suggest you write your congressman (or someone who cares, because it ain't me).

Anyways, this is a 2003 Toyota Tacoma SR5 double cab with the 3.4 V6, automatic transmission, 4x4, TRD off-road package, rear diff locker, ICON coilover lift, brand new Method wheels, and brand new 33" (285) Goodyear Duratrac tires, aftermarket control arms with poly bushings, K&N air intake, roof rack, running boards, tow package, bed liner, LED light bar, and more. This thing is loaded with goodies!

It currently has 191,XXX miles on it and is in beautiful condition. Yes, it has rock chips here and there, and minor signs of wear on the interior, but it runs like a champ, shifts nice and smooth, leaks nothing at all, and is in amazing shape for its age and mileage.

The timing belt, water pump, ball joints, brakes, and a number of other things were recently replaced. The tires are brand new, the locker and 4WD work great, and it needs absolutely nothing. I would venture to say this is one of the cleaner first gen Tacoma double cabs out there. It's been enthusiast owned and well taken care of.

The truck has brand new "Keep Oregon Green" license plates with brand new tags that are good for 2 years.

I have a loan on it through OCCU (Oregon Community Credit Union), so if you are interested, we'll have to go to the credit union, pay off the truck, and they'll mail you the title and give you the documentation needed.

This Tacoma has NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER and I invite you or your mechanic to check it over, it really is as nice as it looks in the photos. Most importantly, it has NO FRAME RUST AT ALL! The frame is as clean as they come!

You can call / text me anytime at 503.701.5752 if interested.

spot on. People sometimes think being a little bit prickly will up the value of the goods they wish to trade for cash.

"Keep Oregon Green" plates ? Why would they be a selling point ?? ... and what color will Oregon turn if you don't keep it Green ?? Curious.

Agreed. Your wording makes you seem like the type of person I'd long sigh after having dealt with.

Not haggling with the price is a forum rule, but you have turned the people that could help you sell it away.

It's always a good sign when everything is covered in Armor-All grease inside and out.

Is it just me, or does it look like there is some red overspray on the leaf springs, hanger and hitch in this photo:

OP - What's going on there?

You have a good eye. Red overspray. And the masking tape job ?? Left behind more than overspray on the corner bumper. "V' ... I don't think that is a reflection either ... I'll ask Earl Shieb , he'll know ...

So what made you change your mind after less than 2 months and 1000 miles? I'm curious because I'm thinking about buying an 01-04 DC TRD 4x4.
